Vevey / CH. (nsa) Lars Olofsson, Executive Vice President in charge of Strategic Business Units, Marketing and Sales, has decided to pursue other interests outside Nestle S.A. and will therefore leave the company at the end of November. During his 32 years at Nestle, Olofsson was successively General Manager of France Glaces Findus, Head of the Nordic markets and Head of Nestle France. In 2001, he was appointed Executive Vice President responsible for Zone Europe and, from 2005, he was in charge of Strategic Business Units, Marketing and Sales. Nestle has asked Werner Bauer, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, to take ad interim additional responsibility for Strategic Business Units, Marketing and Sales, effective immediately.
