Green Week celebrates its 90th anniversary

Berlin / DE. (igw) Christmas comes first, then the International Green Week 2016. Early next year the world’s leading exhibition for agriculture, the food industry and horticulture will be celebrating its 90th anniversary with a packed programme of events, and according to Messe Berlin over 400’000 trade visitors and members of the public want to take part in the celebrations. Admission tickets can already be ordered through the online ticket shop at gruenewoche.de. These can be printed out at home. Indeed, they might even make a nice Christmas present. Visitors can also use the online shop to download their ticket to a mobile phone or tablet. Messe Berlin has opening times and ticket prices to suit every type of visitor, both for planned and spontaneous visits. The fair will open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. On Friday 22 and on the two Saturdays (16 and 23 January) the fair will open from 10:00 to 20:00. A day ticket costs 14 EUR, reduced-rate tickets for schoolchildren and students cost ten EUR. Children under the age of six are admitted free of charge. From Monday to Friday a Happy Hour ticket (daily from 14:00) costs ten EUR, and a family ticket (maximum of two adults and three children aged up to 14) costs 29 EUR. A Sunday ticket is valid on one Sunday only, either on 17 or 24 January, and costs ten EUR. These days are ideal for a family outing. A day ticket for groups of 20 or more costs twelve EUR per person, and for parties of schoolchildren (school IDs required) the individual charge is four EUR. Unlimited admission to the Green Week costs 42 EUR. Messe Berlin has a special offer for Facebook fans who want to visit the Green Week. They can order tickets for a limited period over Christmas, from 21 to 31 December 2015.
