Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division and Silverfern completed the acquisition of Continental Bakeries

Amsterdam / NL. (cbbv) Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division and Silverfern on June 24 announced the completion of the acquisition of Continental Bakeries B.V. from NPM Capital following regulatory clearances. Concurrently with completion of the acquisition, the Company announced that Jeff Van der Eems will join the Company’s board of directors as its Chairman. Van der Eems was most recently CEO of United Biscuits Limited until March 2016 after having spent more than eleven years at the British multinational food manufacturer in various senior positions.
