Zurich / CH. (aag) Swiss-Irish Aryzta AG announced that Pat Morrissey, General Counsel and Company Secretary, has advised the Board that he intends to step down from his position. Aryzta will undertake a process for the appointment of a successor, to be announced in due course. Commenting on the announcement, Aryzta CEO, Kevin Toland said: «Pat has provided great support during a period of significant change and transition for the Group. On behalf of the Board I would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Pat for his invaluable contribution to the development of Aryzta throughout his 18 years service, and to wish him well in his future endeavours. On a personal basis I would like to thank Pat for his strong personal support to me since I started and to wish him every future success». Pat Morrissey said: «It has been a real privilege to work at Aryzta, a great company with great people. I wish Aryzta under the leadership of CEO Kevin Toland and CFO Frederic Pflanz every success».
