Dallas / TX. (cop) Wetzel’s Pretzels LLC, part of CenterOak Partners LLC since September 2016, has named Jennifer Schuler as the company’s new CEO. She replaces co-founder Bill Phelps, who is stepping down after 25 years. Schuler assumed her new role on January 01, 2019. Phelps, who founded the chain in 1994 with Rick Wetzel, remains a large investor and will continue to have an active role in the company as brand ambassador and board member. Schuler joined the company in 2014 as chief marketing officer and became brand president in October 2017.
