New York / NY. (gc) Godiva Chocolatier, with own words the global leader in premium chocolate, announced the appointment of Caroline Le Roch as its President of Americas, effective April 01, 2019. In this new role, Le Roch will join the company’s Executive Committee and lead Godiva’s expansion in the Americas by taking the iconic brand’s Belgian craftmanship and premium chocolate into new products + categories, accelerating its distribution channels, entering new geographies, and launching experiential Godiva Cafés in key markets.
Le Roch joins Godiva with nearly 20 years of sales, merchandising, and global leadership experience. She has successfully led businesses in multiple countries across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. Most recently, she was the Interim Managing Director for L’Occitane, leading a complex, omnichannel business in North America. During her 13-year tenure at L’Occitane, Le Roch demonstrated exceptional leadership in defining the new vision and strategy for the brand. She is a natural leader who is widely recognized for building an inspiring company culture and expanding growth opportunities across multiple channels.

Born and raised in France, Le Roch holds a master’s degree from La Sorbonne in Paris and is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. Le Roch has a passion for giving back to her community and lives in New York with her husband and their two young children. She will be based in Godiva’s New York City headquarters.
