Winston-Salem / NC. (kkd) Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc., member of the Lotte Group, announced that its franchisee, Almana Yiyecek Ve Icecek San. Ve. Tic, Ltd, STI (part of the Almana Group) has opened the first Krispy Kreme doughnut shop in Türkiye. The new shop is located in the city of Istanbul on the popular Bagdat Avenue known for its stylish cafes, restaurants and clothing stores. This is the first of 25 Krispy Kreme shops the franchisee plans to open over the next five years.

Currently, the Krispy Kreme doughnut can be found in 18 countries, including the United States, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Qatar, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom. The Company also has announced a franchise development agreement for China.
