Ukraine: it is more useful for grain traders to export grains

Kiev / UA. (ami) The analytical review of Erste Bank stated that it is more useful for grain traders to export grains than to sell grain volumes on the domestic market, because internal grain prices total 155 USD per ton, meanwhile export grain prices are at the level of 200 USD per ton. The experts noted that in the current year, the hot summer created rather difficult conditions for agricultural commodities producers all over the Europe. Besides, according to the analysts, the European Union asks to abolish the import duty for Ukrainian oilseeds. If the EU manages to cancel the duty, Ukraine will possibly export the major part of oilseeds, produced in the country. Ukraine exported 2,17 million tonnes of sunflower oil, during ten months of the 2009/2010 Milling Year (source: agrimarket.info).
