Ukraine: not to impose grain export quotas

Kiev / UA. (ami) The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will not examine the possibility of imposition of quotas for exports of grains in the nearest future, declared Nikolay Prysiaghniuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, on August 25. According to him, to date the market of grains in Ukraine shows rather calm development rates. But the possibility of the future imposition of grain export quotas will still depend on grain export volumes from Ukraine. According to Viktor Slauta, the Vice Prime-Minister on agrarian issues, Ukraine will keep own grain export potential, but the share of grain export volumes will become lower (source: agrimarket.info).
