(gb) Due to the current international situation and in line with its core values, Mexico’s Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V. has suspended sales of the Bimbo brand in Russia, as well as new capital and marketing investments in the country. In 2021, Russia accounted for less than 0.5 percent of Consolidated Net Sales of the Company. Grupo Bimbo has one bakery in Moscow and employs 362 associates. The group’s priority is the wellbeing of its associates, and for that reason they will keep receiving support from the company in this complex environment. Grupo Bimbo will continue to monitor and assess the situation as circumstances evolve.
