Stockholm / SE. (lg) Sweden’s Lantmännen Group has signed an agreement to acquire Entrack AB, a family-owned company active in supply of undercarriage components and ground engaging tools. Entrack is a family-owned company since almost 50 years with a turnover of SEK 400 million and 70 employees. They have operations in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Italy, and with sales to other countries within Europe.
«Entrack is a well-managed company with a long experience of supporting a wide range of construction and agriculture equipment brands, and will continue to do so. The acquisition will broaden our current offerings and contribute to our growth strategy,» says Magnus Kagevik, CEO and President Lantmännen.
«With Lantmännen, we are now taking an important and exciting step in Entrack’s continued development. Entrack’s strong product range with focus on the aftermarket, together with Lantmännen’s knowledge and experience, not least in the sustainability area, create the conditions for a bright future for Entrack, its employees and customers,» says Björn Nilsson, Head of Entrack Group.
Entrack will be organised as a separate business within Lantmännen’s Business Area Swecon. The transaction must be approved by relevant authorities and is expected to be completed during fall of 2024. Until the transaction is completed, Lantmännen and Entrack continue to operate as separate companies.
