Arlington / VA. (lus) Lidl US LLC, a subsidiary of German Schwarz Group, is thrilled to announce the addition of an enticing array of new bakery items to its shelves, currently available in all stores since June 12. The new offerings include a variety of delicious doughnuts, muffins, and classic New York style bagels, promising to elevate the bakery experience for Lidl customers. The new bakery standout items are the Plain NY Bagel, Everything NY Bagel, Cinnamon Roll Donut, Apple Fritter, Chocolate Yeast Donut, Glazed Yeast Donut, Glazed Cake Donut, Blueberry Muffin with Streusel, and Triple Chocolate Muffin.

American demand for grocery bakery offerings, specifically doughnuts and bagels, is rising. In the last year 2023, 82.2 percent of US households purchased doughnuts and 71.3 percent purchased bagels in a grocery store. More specifically, 2.1 billion doughnuts, up 12.8 percent from the previous year, and almost 986 million bagels, up 3.8 percent from the previous year, were sold in grocery stores in the past year.
