(ffg) In January 2007, British Finsbury Food Group PLC announced the acquisition of the Lightbody Group Ltd and, at that time, Lord Saatchi announced his plan to retire as Chairman a year after the completion of the acquisition. Accordingly, Lord Saatchi confirms now that he will step down as Chairman, and from the Board, with effect from 30 April. He will be replaced by David Marshall who has been Deputy Chairman of the Group since its creation in 2002. David will be assisted in his role by Paul Monk, who continues as Deputy Chairman – an appointment he took up in February 2007 (press release).
