Hershey / PA. (thc) The Hershey Company announced that John C. Long, Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility, will retire after more than 22 years with the company, effective April 30. Long will work as a consultant with Hershey, continuing to lead the company´s efforts in cocoa sustainability and responsible cocoa growing. Long joined the company in 1986 as Director, Public Relations, and became Director, Consumer and Public Relations, in 1989. In 2001, he was promoted to Vice President, Public Affairs, and was named Vice President, Corporate Affairs, in 2005. He was named Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility, in 2007 (press release).
