(md) After its successful launch in 2006 the «European Foodtalk» will also be held this year at InterMopro | InterCool | InterMeat, the International Trade Fairs for Dairy Products, Frozen Products, Meat and Processed Meat, held in Dusseldorf from 28 September to 01 October. Retailers´ and manufacturers´ interests currently focus on the ranges of the future. Food retailers´ wishes to sharpen their profile and improve added value by means of prime private brands confront branded product manufacturers with new challenges. Under the heading «Private Brands and Innovation – More Image and Added Value for Retail and Industry» keynote speakers of well-known trading companies from Germany and abroad will take a look beyond their own backyards. In this context the pros and cons of innovative private brands in the prime segment will be reviewed with comparisons across Europe.
