Malmo / SE. (aak) The management for AAK Group’s operations in Asia will as of September 01, 2015, relocate from Scandinavia to Singapore, where the company already has an office for its sourcing and trading activities. «This relocation will allow us to even better pursue our global growth strategy and it will further strengthen our presence in the strategically very important Asian market», says Torben Friis Lange, President AAK Asia. With an increased presence in Asia we will be able to better execute AAK’s unique customer co-development proposition in the region». As communicated earlier, AAK (former AarhusKarlshamn AB) is currently constructing a speciality and semi-speciality edible oils factory in Zhangjiagang, China. The start-up of the factory is planned for the first half of 2016.
