Thomasville / GA. (ff) Flowers Foods Inc. announces that senior vice president and chief financial officer Jim M. Woodward will retire as an officer of the company effective September 15. Woodward will continue to serve in an advisory capacity for financial and related matters. R. Steve Kinsey, previously vice president and corporate controller, has been appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer by the company´s board of directors. George E. Deese, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president, comments that «Jimmy Woodward has been a valued member of our management team since 1985 and has served as CFO since 2000.
