Kecskemet / HU. (wib) Fornetti Frozen Bakers Products and Trading Ltd. opened its first exhibition bakery in Bulgaria last week and added four additional stores since then. The company also plans to complete the construction of a new plant in Ukraine in 18 months. According to «Portfolio.hu» (citing «Napi Gazdaság») the plant will have a monthly capacity of 600 tons. Works on Fornetti’s second Ukrainian production base already started, founder and owner Jozsef Palasti told the newspaper(s).
The franchise´s Romanian unit is therefore more profitable than the Ukrainian and Serbian subsidiaries. Sales of the company in Romania grew by 20 percent on average in the past years and Fornetti plans to set up two logistics bases in order to meet growing demand. The projects will cost 1,3 million Euro each. Since Croatian sales are also on the rise, Fornetti has started to build a 1,5 million Euro logistics base near Zagreb. In Spain Fornetti is building up its presence in theme parks and multiplexes.
The company was founded by master baker Jozsef Palasti in 1997. It has always been a family oriented enterprise.
