Portland / OR. (fb) Franz Bakery, the largest independent, family-owned bakery on the West Coast of the United States, has increased its distribution in the state of Montana. Franz´s breads and baked goods, currently available in Missoula, are now also available in Billings. Since 1906 Franz Bakery offers a wide variety of fresh bread, buns, bagels, cookies, and pastries, baked fresh every day. «We are really excited to expand our offerings in the state of Montana», said Marc Albers, president and COO for Franz. «We have been using wheat from Montana in our products for more than 25 years, so it was a natural fit for us to increase our presence in Montana to include Billings». Franz Bakery has six baking facilities throughout the Northwest and delivers fresh baked goods to grocery, restaurant, food service and institutional customers in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California and Montana.
