(gr) According to Mexico’s Gruma S.A.B. de C.V. the fourth quarter 2020 underscored a growing trend in the company’s end customer behavior, characterized by increasing familiarity with the tortilla product among Non-Hispanics and its recognition as a core ingredient in healthy diets. This, combined with a greater demand for the products arising from the acceptance of tortilla as a versatile ingredient that may be used in a great number of recipes, increased the company’s margins and benefited the bottom line to close the year with a solid performance.
