Berlin / DE. (igw) The International Green Week (IGW) extends an invitation to undertake a culinary voyage of discovery around the world from 18 to 27 January. For ten days exhibitors will be presenting over 100.000 specialities from all five continents. There will also be opportunities to sample the diversity of foodstuffs from Germany´s regions on the stands of the federal states and at the various Product Markets. Switzerland, the partner country at this year´s Green Week, will be exhibiting delicacies from all of its cantons. In 1952 the Netherlands was the first foreign country to stage a combined display at the Green Week, and its 56th consecutive appearance at this event features a completely new stand concept. The Caucasus republic of Azerbaijan will be meeting trade visitors and the general public for the first time when it makes its debut as an exhibitor. Occupying more than 6.000 square metres, the Russian Federation again has the largest national display. Austria has substantially expanded its stand area compared with last year. More than 1.500 exhibitors from over 50 countries will be exhibiting typical regional products in their national displays, or will be represented by importers or exporters.
