Folschviller / FR. (ng) The French Neuhauser Group will start the production at its 31-million-EUR-plant in Maubeuge at the end of January. According to French media the plant is expected to produce pre-baked frozen bread for retail outlets, wholesalers and importers in France and Europe. About 40 people currently work at the plant. The facility was built next to the former Delices de la Tour frozen bread site, that Neuhauser acquired in 2007 from CSM for 7,7 million EUR. Neuhauser has 16 production units and a workforce of approximately 2’500 employees. 50 percent of the group´s turnover – around 260 million EUR – is generated internationally.
