Vejle / DK. (cb) Credin bageripartner A/S, a unit of Norwegian Orkla Group, has entered into an agreement to buy Frederik Christiansen Food A/S, which is a full-package supplier to the Danish bakery and confectionery industry.
Under the agreement, which was signed on 30 September 2010, Frederik Christiansen Food will become a subsidiary of Credin bageripartner. The sellers are Morten and Jens Glud. Frederik Christiansen Food has 31 employees and had total sales of 144 million DKK in 2009. The company has a long, proud tradition in the Danish bakery and confectionery sector, with a history dating back to 1878.

Credin bageripartner A/S is one of the leading full-package suppliers to the Danish bakery segment, and supplies margarine, marzipan, bread and cake mix products, as well as finished and semi-finished bakery products. The company has 59 employees, and sales totalled 325 million DKK in 2009. Credin bageripartner is part of Orkla Food Ingredients, a business unit of Orkla Brands.
