St. Louis / MO. (wib) Quick-casual restaurant chain Panera Bread Company says its President Neal Yanofsky is leaving the company, effective January 04 to pursue other career opportunities. In a statement the chain says Yanofsky´s duties will be split between Chairman and Chief Executive Ron Shaich, Executive Vice President John Maguire and Chief Financial Officer Jeff Kip.
As President Yanofsky oversees / oversaw all Panera Bread corporate operations, including accounting and finance, information technology, manufacturing and supply chain, legal, human resources, and business development. Yanofsky joined Panera Bread in June 2003 as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, and was appointed President in April 2006.
