(wib) Sandwich chain Pret a Manger Limited plans to appoint bankers this autumn for a 500 to 700 million GBP initial public offering (IPO), The British Sunday Express reports citing an unnamed source. The paper added that Pret advisor NM Rothschild has told London private equity firms that the chain could also be sold. Pret A Manger was founded in London 1986. There are about 150 Pret shops at the moment. Most of them are in the United Kingdom, a few in New York, Hong Kong und Singapore. The first time the company announced in spring, that Pret should try an IPO, in order to be able to advance international expansion.
