Raisio PLC: CEO is looking for new challenges

Raisio / FI. (rg) Pekka Kuusniemi who has been leading Finland’s Raisio PLC as Group-CEO since November 2017 has decided to leave the company. He will continue as CEO until June 15th, 2024. The Board of Directors has initiated a search for a successor. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Arto Tiitinen: «During his time as Raisio’s CEO Pekka Kuusniemi has built for the company a solid foundation which is based on purpose and values. He has been leading the company successfully through the challenges caused by pandemic time and by Russian invasion to Ukraine and he has been able to restore company profitability despite high inflation. I wish him all the best of success for the future.»

Pekka Kuusniemi: «My years as Raisio’s CEO have been very interesting and times have been exceptionally challenging. Raisio is in strong shape and ready for further growth so I think it is now the right time for me to look into future opportunities. The current financial period is already 17th for me as a leader of an international industrial company and I’m convinced that with this experience there will be interesting opportunities also in the future.
