Stockholm / SE. (lg) According to the Swedish Lantmännen Group, the cooperative’s companies Lantmännen Agroetanol, Reppe and Oats are merging into one company – Lantmännen Biorefineries AB. The merger will take place in two stages and will be completed in February 2024, but already now the companies Agroetanol and Reppe are merging to form Lantmännen Biorefineries.
Lantmännen Biorefineries was introduced at the beginning of 2020 with the aim of forming a company – a legal entity – with a common organization and way of working. As a result of the merger, the company names Lantmännen Agroetanol, Lantmännen Reppe and Lantmännen Oats will cease to exist and instead be called Lantmännen Biorefineries, with operations in Norrköping, Lidköping and Kimstad. «Through the new company, we will continue to offer our first-class sustainable products, sprung from the Swedish arable land and our members’ farms. None of our operations will relocate. Thus the merger only entails administrative measures for the parties involved,» says Fredrik Jönsson, CEO Lantmännen Biorefineries.
Employees have continuously been informed about the ongoing merger and information has been sent to customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. The planned merger of Lantmännen Oats will be carried out in mid-February 2024 in connection with the implementation of the M3 business system.
