(ami) During the first seven months of 2009, the general output of agricultural products in all agrarian economies of Ukraine increased by 3,8 percent, including agricultural enterprises – up 5,9 percent, economies of Ukrainian population – down 1,8 percent, declared the State Statistics Committee on August 13. During January to July of 2009, the general volumes of plant growing products output grew by 4,8 percent compared to the same period of 2008, agrarian enterprises increased the index by 2,8 percent, economies of the population – by eight percent. Agrarian enterprises increased the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 43 percent compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products – by 2,1 times. The average sale prices of Ukrainian agricultural products decreased by 19 percent compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products – down 32 percent. In July 2009, the average sale prices of agricultural products lowered by six percent compared to June, including plant growing products – down seven percent (source: agrimarket.info).
