Denver / CO. (vri) Vicorp Restaurants Inc., operator of Village Inn and Bakers Square restaurants, and its parent company VI Acquisition Corporation, announced the appointment of Hazem Ouf as president and CEO. Ouf replaces Ken Keymer, CEO of the company since April 2007, who announced his plans to retire at the end of this month (press release). Headquartered in Denver, Vicorp Restaurants Inc. operates two well known restaurant concepts: Village Inn and Bakers Square. Founded in 1958, Vicorp has 343 restaurants in 25 states, consisting of 250 company-operated restaurants and 93 franchised restaurants.
